Nerdversity Reviews: Power Rangers Megaforce 4" Red Ranger figure.

Released sometime in 2013, this is a budget 4 inch Megaforce Red figure. I can't find much information on it on the web. It doesn't come with a Gosei card or any accesories, The card front has a large graphic of what appears to be RoboKnight and stock images of the Red, Blue and Black Megaforce rangers.

The card back is even sparser than the front, containing a brief rundown of the series in English, French and Spanish, along with stock photos of the rangers.

Out of the package, it's painfully obvious that this is a budget figure. The paint apps are essentially white and red. There's little in the way of detailing other than the helmet, chest insignia and the belt buckle on the front, it remains unpainted on the back of the figure. None of the other costume details have actually been painted.

Articulation on this figure is exactly the same on a Kenner Star Wars figure, neck, shoulders and hips only.

There is detailing on the helmet, but it's nowhere near as good as the other 4 inch scale figures, which appear to be better articulated and painted. A talented customiser could repaint this figure and make it look presentable.

The Red and Blue figures, which I will be reviewing the Blue ranger soon, both came as an exclusive pack in with the Dino Charge Megazord from Argos stores in the UK. I am unsure if these figures were released at retail in any parts of the world during the Megaforce run.

They aren't exactly bad figures for budget figures or even UK pack in figures. The paint apps could have been better in my opinion. I am also aware that these figures were also released with the Super Megaforce Legendary Megazord, also from Argos stores.
