Nerdversity Reviews: 1992 Matchbox Thunderbird 3

Lets continue our look at the 1992 Matchbox Thunderbirds Rescue Pack and in this review, we'll be taking a look at Thunderbird 3.

Thunderbird 3 stands approx 5 1/2" inches tall from nose to booster. It's all diecast metal aside from the docking collar, arms and central finned engine piece. The nose cone is soft rubber. There are no action features on Thunderbird 3, it's more or less a static model.

Comparing it to the 2015 version, Thunderbird 3 is still largely unchanged from its 1960s counterpart. Aside from having a smaller docking collar and squared off boosters, they are still the same.

Thunderbird 3 goes for about £10 carded on the secondary market. Or you can just buy the Rescue Pack for £40 and get all the Matchbox toys in one pack.
