Nerdversity Reviews: X-Men: Danger Room Protocols

Social media was ablaze this week when a new video appeared. It was a teaser for a new animated web series called X-Men: Danger Room Protocols. It's an all new web series based on the 1992 animated series by Joel Furtado.

Entirely made in CGI, the show features the same aesthetic look to it that the original cartoon did, but has a very pleasant Playstation era feel to it, as the characters all have the blocky polygon look to them which really helps in my opinion. It may not be to everyone's tastes, but your mileage may vary.

You can view the trailer above. The series is set to debut on YouTube on January 19th and run for 18 episodes. It'll feature 2 X-Men per episode in the Danger Room going through various scenarios, clashing with famous villains and loads more besides.

You can follow the project on FacebookPatreon and the official website of the creator.
