On 27th January, Angela: Queen of Hel issue 4 hit stores and it immediately drew attention from a lot of comic readers, collectors and critics, mainly for this series of panels above. Noone is sure whether this was intentional or whether it was an earlier draft that slipped through the net and didn't get changed. We may never know.
Many people were quick to jump in on this and say that Angela is a fantasy comic, dealing with gods and Norse mythology, so Marvel should have left the real world politics at the door, plus many have asked exactly why this sort of thing was put into a comic in the first place. It's not the sort of thing many would have expected in a comic based solely around Norse Mythology.
The writer of this comic is Marguerite Bennett and she took to social media and caused a storm by blocking people who dared to question her on the panel in question. I understand that creators are only human at the end of the day, but with sales slipping drastically from November - January, she hasn't really helped herself by making these attacks on critics of her comic and blocking them from her social media
