Nerdversity Reviews: Hasbro Star Wars The Force Awakens Princess Leia

The second figure in this pack is Princess Leia, so lets take a look at the figure:

The Leia figure is a repackaged 2015 Mission Series Leia and Luke. The figure has a fairly accurate face sculpt to Carrie Fisher. The hair buns are sculpted on. Her main outfit is the all white dress and silver belt that she wore from the movie. She's wearing a pair of slightly darker white boots underneath the dress. There's some realistic wrinkles and folds in the dress as well. Leia has 5 points of articulation. Head, shoulders and hips. The blurb for Leia reads:

Determined to bring down the Empire, Princess Leia delivers top-secret plans for the Death Star to her Rebel allies.

Her main accessory is a BlasTech E-11 Blaster Rifle, or the the Stormtrooper blaster. It's slightly too large for the figures hands and my figure had warped hands because of it, showing the rifle is clearly meant to be for a larger handed figure. The detailing is fantastic, showing air holes in the barrel.

Strangely, as this is based on the Death Star Scenes, her other accessories include a rocket launcher that really fires and a grappling hook blaster that also really fires. Like the E-11, these are clearly designed for a much larger figure in mind and don't fit very well.

Here;s the figure with the blaster in hand. Overall, slightly better than the Han figure, but could have done with better articulation and a slightly smaller blaster that won't warp the hands.

The set can be found in most stores for £15, so don't miss out of you want to own this piece of nostalgia in The Force Awakens toy line.
