Nerdversity Reviews: The Lost Worlds of Gerry Anderson (Disc 2)

Disc 1 was rather heavy on content, Disc 2 is much lighter and has more promotional material in it rather than actual movies. There's 2 pilots on this disc, a few rough cuts of Space Police and a whole slew of promotional photos, behind the scenes and more.

1. Here Comes Kandy (1955)

Here Comes Kandy was a pilot presentation of a puppet TV series. It wasn't made or produced by Gerry Anderson, but it was part of his production company, Pentagon Films. The plot revolves around the title character, Kandy the Koala helping his friend, Hoppity the Kangaroo put some chimney pots in place, while not only trying to stay awake, but also avoid the tricks that the Bunny Babes will play on him.

2. Blue Cars: Martians

In this short commercial for Blue Cars travel, two Martians are watching Earth through a telescope and see there's people using Blue Cars travel to go on holiday. They decide they want to go on a Blue Cars holiday as well.

So that's really it for the set overall. I'd say it's definitely worth it for the content in the first disc overall. There's plenty for everyone and it shows how much Anderson has changed over the years. Definitely worth picking up.
