Nerdversity Reviews: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Mini Comic Collection

The book was published by Dark Horse in October of 2015. It has over 1100 pages and has every single mini comic published from 1982 to present day with the Masters of the Universe classics mini comics. The front cover features the Masters in combat with Skeletor and Beast Man from the original 80s comics and then underneath, we have a large graphic of the logo and then all of the different incarnations of He-Man and She-Ra from the comics that are included.

The back of the book features He-Man being cheered on while the blurb explains what's in it. What fans are getting in this book is every single mini comic produced, which is almost 70 in number, with all the original Masters of the Universe, She-Ra, New Adventures of He-Man and the Masters classics ones.

All the comics in this book have been fully restored from scans and also feature notes in the footer if there's anything of interest in the story. There's also interviews with the original artists and writers of the comics. As an added bonus, there's 2 unproduced stories at the end. Return From Terror Island that was almost produced and the The Ring of Dreams, which is in scripted form. 

Fans of the MOTU franchise can get it very easily from all markets, The current price is £20 ($30), which for what you're getting in this book, is definitely well worth it. Even if you're not that much of a fan of Masters of the Universe, the work in here also features the likes of Bruce Timm, Stan Sakai , Tim Seely and Robert Kirkman
