Nerdversity Reviews: MCM Birmingham Comic Con 2016 (Spring)

Back on 19th - 20th March, we went to MCM Birmingham Comic-Con. First off, not much got done because con-crud is an awful thing. The main thing is that it was largely the same as when we reported back in November at the event. It was the same, large and open hall with vendors all around, the main guest of honour, like last year was Lindsay Wagner, the Bionic Woman.

They had the same attractions this time round as they did last year. They had the Transformers cars, the DeLorean, gaming zone where you could play DDR or Street Fighter. The table top gaming zone was there were people could play Pokemon, Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh. I did see a fair amount of people stood around outside, making new friends, doing photoshoots and even just milling around in the NEC. I'm beginning to wonder if this slimmed down version might be the reason why people are only coming for a few hours and then leaving, but other than that. My applause and congratulations to the MCM team for putting on another fantastic show.

MCM Birmingham will be back in November, on the 19th and 20th. So if you're interested in a new experience, don't hesitate, come along. You never know what you'll find here, along with the friends you'll meet.
