Nerdversity Reviews: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Classics: Michaelangelo

Michaelangelo was released in 2015 alongside the other turtles. He comes in a package very similar to the original toys. It has the same brick pattern back and the figure exploding out the card. It has the same cartoony turtles on the bottom around the name card.

His accessories are the same washed over manhole cover figure stand with his name on the plate. He also comes with a pair of nunchucks that are plastic and metal. They have orange handles and fit in his hands perfectly or in his belt.

Mikey stands at 6 inches tall like his counterparts and is articulated in the same way as the others. He has holsters on his back for the nunchucks. The paint apps are the same greens and browns as on the other figures, making the orange stand out and be very bright. The articulation isn't hindered by the bands or the shell.

The figure can hold both chucks in a hand, or a single chuck in both hands and they're secure. They look and feel great. There's no jovial facial expression, one of a determined stare and closed mouth. Shame, cause they could have softened the face to match his party boy persona. The figure can be found on all markets and some stores may still carry this figure.
