Nerdversity Reviews: The Complete Chronicles of Conan

Robert E. Howard is one of the most prominent writers of the pulp era. He wrote many stories based around boxing, sword and sorcery and historical fiction for magazines like Weird Tales, His most famous creation, was Conan the Barbarian. 

In 2006, on the Centenary of Conan's release into the literary world, Gollancz collected every single Conan story, poem and even drafts, collected them in this 925 page leather bound collectors edition. They had previously collected them in 2 volumes, this is merely the omnibus edition. The stories included are:

The book has artwork peppered throughout the pages, drawn by legendary sci-fi and fantasy artist Les Edwards. who is best known for his work with Games Workshop in the 1980s, his art for Discworld and other Robert E. Howard works. 

This book is a perfect read for anyone who likes classic sword and sorcery adventures, especially from the pulp era of the 1930s. It's the only way you can get all of Howard's literary works regarding Conan these days. It can be found on the secondary market, for around £15.
