Nerdversity Reviews: Gokaiger Legend Ranger Key Series 1 - Go-On Wings

In 2011, Toei released Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, the 35th Super Sentai series that also celebrated 35 years of Super Sentai. It is set in the VS Movie Universe and saw the return of many well known Sentai characters and actors. It's main gimmick was the Ranger Key, which was used by the rangers to turn themselves into Rangers from the past.

The Go-On Wings key comes in the same green box with a picture of the Ranger and the key on it. Unfortunately, I can't read Japanese, so I don't know what most of the text reads.

On the back of the box, we have the other figures in the Legendary Ranger Key wave. A brief rundown of how it works and how it works with the Mobilates.

Like with the Big One key, we have the Ranger Key itself and the sticker sheet for the black piece between the legs and the key backing.

Here's the key all stickered up and ready to use. The key is very well sculpted and painted, having all the details of the Go-Onger/RPM suits, as well as the helmet details. The paint apps are designed to match both Gold and Silver side by side. However, it's not metallic, but still looks great. The details mirror each other perfectly.

This form did appear in Super Megaforce, but not RPM, as it was a creation of Gai Ikari, using both Go-On Wings keys at the same time to appear as both Gold and Silver. The key goes for around £10 even in loose form. Making it one of the more collectible keys
