Nerdversity Reviews: Thundercats 2011 4 Inch Tygra

Despite the success that Thundercats was on CN and at the toy store shelves in 2011, it lasted barely a year before the line and cartoon were eventually cancelled and the toys clearanced.

Tygra was the next figure released in the first wave of figures. He comes on the standard bubble card for the line. The only differences here being the graphic of Tygra in the upper left and the card.

The back of the card shows Tygra and a run down of the character. It also shows what other toys are available in the wave, for both vehicles, playsets and other figures. It also explains what Thunder Lynx does,

The figure comes in his trademark green armour, inspired by the Halo series of games. His articulation is the same as Lion-O, articulation in the neck, shoulders, biceps, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. His accessories are his belt and blaster pistol and his trademark whip. He also has a Thunder Lynx port on his back for activating features in the playsets and vehicles. The whip and gun can be placed in either hand and they feel tight.

Another strong release figure right from the outset. He matches his on screen counterpart and looks great alongside the other figures. Like Lion-O, he's around £10 carded.
