In 2011, Bandai released the final figure in it's initial wave of Deluxe figures and this one is perhaps the best one of all.
One of the main villains from the series, Grune comes in the standard deluxe window box. It features the logo up on the top and new artwork of Grune on the side.
The back of the box is largely the same as the other deluxes. In the upper part, we have a run down of Grune's features, as well as picture of the figure. The lower portions show all the figures and vehicles that were out at the time and coming soon.
Standing at 4 inches tall, Grune comes dressed in his gold armour and blue pants that he wore throughout all his appearances. Articulated at the neck, shoulders, bicep, wrists, hips, knees and ankles. His accessories are: a bow, arrow, quiver on a stand and his mace. The mace is the action feature, in that connecting it to the Thunder Lynx port on his back makes the mace pop open.
This figure is the definition of a deluxe figure. Sure, they could have released him as a basic with the mace, but there's more here. He's much better than the Lion-O and Tygra Deluxe figures. Definitely one to add to the collection. He goes for around £20-30 on the secondary market.
