Nerdversity Reviews: Thundercats 2011 4 Inch Wily Kit

Bandai was handed the license for Thundercats in 2011, to make toys based on the new cartoon series that was airing on Cartoon Network.

Wily Kit was released in 2011 alongside the main cast figures, as part of wave 1. The figure comes on the standard blister card for this wave. There's a picture of the redesigned Kit in the upper left. The rest of the bubble shows the figure with all the accessories.

The rest of the card shows Kit with her accessories. There is a bio for Kit and a brief blurb on the new cartoon. The rest of the card shows off the figures and other toys in the wave 1 line.

Kit stands around 2 inches tall and comes dressed in her main outfit from the series. Articulation is restricted to the head and shoulders. The rest is made up in the accessories, coming with a hoverboard and her hypnotic flute.

We're getting towards the end of the main wave 1 line and to be honest, these are among the weakest figures in the line. Barely any articulation at all, severely diminishing play value. Due to this, the poses look odd when posed on the hoverboard. Like the other wave 1 figures, expect to pay around £10 for one carded.
