Nerdversity Reviews: Thundercats 2011 Eye of ThunDera Giftset (Target)

As with any modern toyline, it isn't long until there's a gift set made using the left over figures from the wave.

Released in 2011, the Eye of ThunDera Gift set comes in a box that features a large window to see the 4 Wave 1 basic figures inside. The box front is blue and has the Thundercats logo on the bottom.

The back of the box has the 4 figures in a large section. The rest set aside for the Year 1 and the upcoming Year 2 releases.

The figures themselves are basic enough, Tygra, Mumm-Ra, Lion-O and Snarf. The first three were released single carded and Snarf with the Thundertank. The figures don't come with all their accessories. Mumm-Ra is missing the gauntlet, as is Lion-O, yet Tygra comes with his laser pistol and whip.

To be quite honest, this giftset is skippable, if you already own all the basic figures and the Thundertank. The set is only worth it if you were unable to find any other figures in your area. The set is very cheap on the secondary market, despite being a Target exclusive.
