Nerdversity Reviews: The Force Awakens Ezra Bridger

Star Wars Rebels debuted in 2014 on Disney XD. It was widely praised as being one of the best, if not the best animated entry into the Star Wars Universe.

Ezra Bridger comes on the standard 4 inch scale card. The Kylo Ren banner is on the hanger section. On the right hand side, we have CG artwork of Ezra. As this is the desert wave, the card is orange and Ezra is stood in a desert. The rest of the card has the figure in the bubble with his accessories.

The back of the card is orange, continuing the desert theme. The left hand side of the card shows the figures in the 2nd wave of Desert figures. It also shows how the pieces of the build-a-weapon fit together to form their super weapon

The double sided instruction sheet shows the figures in the wave and their individual weapons. The back side of it, shows how the pieces fit together.

Ezra stands around 4 inches tall and comes dressed in his red and brown flight suit, as seen in the cartoon. He's articulated in the neck, shoulders and hips. He comes sculpted after his appearance in the cartoon.

Ezra's 2 accessories are a Stormtrooper helmet that can fit on his head or be carried. It's well detailed and comes in white, with black accents. His other accessory is his modified lightsaber, which has a blaster in the hilt. He can hold it in either hand and it fits securely, without feeling like either accessory are going to fall off.

His Build-A-Weapon piece is the base for a super cannon. It has the stand, support post and gun shield. The stand is painted in black. The support is white with tan and black highlights. The blast shield is painted in tan.

I was able to pick this figure up for £2 from Tesco, as they were being clearanced. I like this figure. He looks like he stepped right out of the cartoon. The face sculpt and the bright colours match this.
