Nerdversity Reviews: Fester's Quest

The NES is considered to be one of the biggest selling home consoles after the crash of 1983. It bought video gaming back into the home and made it popular again.

Fester's Quest was released by Sunsoft in 1989. Sunsoft, best known for their games like Journey to Silius and Batman, based this release on the 1960s Addam's Family TV series. Many internet critics have taken to hating on this game, but as a top down shooter, there's some interesting puzzles and even an RPG element thrown in.

The game sees you playing as the titular Uncle Fester as he saves the world from aliens in typical Addams Family style. There's plenty to see and do in this game, complete with a steep difficulty curve. This is one that is made for experience gamers.
