Nerdversity Reviews: R.C. Pro-Am

Combat racing, that was made famous with Mario Kart, then other systems had it's origins on the NES.

R.C. Pro-Am was released by Rare in 1989. It was an isometric combat racer. There was nothing done like this before.

The game has the player racing R.C cars around a track. The player can obtain missiles and oil slicks to defeat opposing racers, but they can also be used on the player. This is tough, yet fun.
